Greetings!
Life in an airport. They come in all different shpaes and sizes usually with many different things to observe. This last trip I opted to splurge and fly into my exact destination rather than getting in as "close" as possible. Here I am in good ol' Rockford, Illinois.
What a wonderful greeting by a sock monkey, huh?
This was a luxury. It only had FIVE gates.
Yes, here is the one token luggage carrousel.
At the end of my stay, I walked up the single flight of stairs only to find the security check out was closed. They only had one flight going out and apparently the workers were on lunch.
One drawback to being in such a small airport, they actually have time to check your ENTIRE bag. A woman reprimanded me for not having my circular lip balm in a plastic bag. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I've been in countless airports prior to this one and never once did anyone catch that. Just as well, she also took the time to put it the proper sized quart baggie. Yay!
